January 11, 2016 – Happy New Year!!!

Hey everybody. I hope the beginning of 2016 is off to a great start for all of you!!!

January102016

This just in – the latest Powerball Jackpot is estimated at $1.3 Billion Dollars – Do you have a ticket???

PowerBall

The odds of having spontaneous triplets are a little more than 1 in 8,100 – hmmmm, maybe we should play? Although, I have read that the chances of winning any Powerball Jackpot is 1 in 292.2 million!!!

According to this website: USCensus.Gov the population of the United States is almost 323 million people.

I have an idea!!! Why don’t we just split the $1.3 Billion Dollar Powerball Jackpot and give every US Citizen $3 million bucks???

That would work, Right???

This is what $3,000,000 dollars looks like ($100 bills)…

Anyhow, all dreaming aside 🙂 – 2016 has brought about another change in our feeding schedule!!! Right now the boys have scaled back to just 5 feeds per day @ 4 hour intervals. Currently 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm & 10pm. Keoni is consuming a little more than 7 ounces per feed, while Makani & Kaleo are just a bit under 7 ounces. We are playing around with the timing of the final feed in hopes it will allow the boys (& us) some more continuous sleep hours. I’ll let you know how we progress!

The boys are growing like weeds. Keoni is still the biggest, he’s already wearing 9 month infant clothes! We don’t have a doctor’s appointment for a couple of weeks so we don’t really know their weights. We took Makani to the pediatrician 2 weeks ago and he weighed in at just under 14 pounds!!

😀

We were lucky enough to find this on our local Craigslist and pick it up on New Years Eve, it’s a Berg Runabout. The boys love it, we took it out on it’s maiden voyage last weekend:

And finally, I just wanted to send our thoughts and prayers out to our friends that are expecting triplets – Plamen & Cveti, Congratulations on making it to 24 weeks (viabitlity!) Keep those babies in that oven as long as you can!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
